What is houston serial killer?

Houston has unfortunately been home to several serial killers throughout its history. One of the most notorious was Dean Corll, also known as the "Candy Man," who was responsible for the Houston Mass Murders in the early 1970s. Corll, along with two teenage accomplices, abducted, raped, and murdered at least 28 young boys between 1970 and 1973.

Another infamous serial killer from Houston is Angel Maturino Resendiz, also known as the "Railway Killer." Resendiz was a drifter who traveled by train along the railway lines, committing a series of murders in multiple states, including in Houston in the late 1990s. He was ultimately captured and executed in 2006.

More recently, in 2003, Anthony Shore, also known as the "Tourniquet Killer," was convicted of the murders of four women in the Houston area. He was known for using a homemade tourniquet to strangle his victims and was eventually executed in 2018.

These are just a few examples of serial killers who have operated in Houston. The city has unfortunately seen its share of violent crimes committed by individuals with a propensity for serial killing.
